Latina author highlight: We’re kicking off October by getting to know one another and building relationships! Alma and How She Got Her Name by Juana Martinez-Neal is a wonderful book about a girl discovering her family heritage through her name. Sharing diverse books like this helps expand our students' worldviews and celebrates the rich cultures that make up our community.
