🎤 This Morning's Presenter: Mike Urgo of Urgo Agency

This morning, BNI 41 North had the privilege of hearing from Mike Urgo, owner of Urgo Agency and one of the true cornerstones of our chapter.

Mike has built a career around helping families and businesses protect what matters most through insurance. In addition to running a successful agency, he currently leads a nonprofit organization, previously served as First Selectman of Stonington, and remains deeply committed to serving our community.

But what stands out most about Mike isn't his resume. It's who he is as a person.

He's a devoted husband, a proud father, a trusted friend, and someone who somehow finds the time to give 100% to his family, his business, his nonprofit work, and this chapter.

Mike is also one of only three founding members still active in BNI 41 North today. Since the chapter's inception, he has consistently shown up, supported fellow members, shared referrals, and helped shape the culture that makes our chapter what it is. The commitment he has shown to this group over the years is nothing short of remarkable.

When people talk about the BNI philosophy of Givers Gain, Mike is one of the first people that comes to mind. He leads by example, supports others without hesitation, and is always willing to help wherever needed.

Thank you, Mike, for an outstanding presentation this morning and for everything you do for our chapter, our businesses, and our community. We're grateful to have you as part of the BNI 41 North family.

🎤 Meet Mr. Z — BNI 41 North’s Residential Realtor

Every BNI chapter has that guy.

For BNI 41 North, that guy is Mike Zerbini — “Mr. Z” — of IMT Realty. 😂

Mike is our chapter’s residential real estate expert, but he’s also known for something else…

He refuses to give a normal weekly commercial.

Instead, Mike has a habit of breaking into song, rhymes, poems, and whatever other creative nonsense he can come up with to get his message across.

And honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way.

Last week, Mike delivered another one of his original performances, and we figured it was too good not to share. 🎤🏠

Mike brings a ton of personality to our meetings, keeps everyone laughing, and somehow manages to make sure we all remember exactly what he does.

Need to buy or sell a home? You know who to call.

Need a song about it? Well… apparently Mike has that covered too. 😂

Safe Futures Walk — 41 North BNI

Yesterday, BNI 41 North showed up for the Safe Futures Walk, and we couldn’t be more proud of our team!

Safe Futures does incredibly important work throughout Southeastern Connecticut, supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, trafficking, and other forms of abuse. Their mission is simple but powerful: stop abuse, restore hope, and save lives.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone from 41 North who came out, walked with us, donated, or helped support the cause. It was great seeing our group come together outside of our normal Thursday morning meetings and put our BNI philosophy of Givers Gain into action.

We appreciate everyone who helped make yesterday such a great event. 41 North showed up, and you guys represented us well! 👏

🔥 BNI 41 North Speaker Spotlight — Mark Pancrazio

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hearing from one of our own, Mark Pancrazio of Cipparone & Zaccaro, where he works as a real estate attorney.

Mark has been a longtime member of BNI 41 North and is one of those people who makes the group better simply by being part of it. He brings experience, knowledge, humor, and a genuine willingness to help the people around him. He’s also a highly respected member of our chapter and someone we’re lucky to have in the room.

Outside of work, Mark is a big family guy. He’s a proud husband and dad to two amazing daughters, and the importance he places on family and relationships is something that comes through in everything he does.

And if you know Mark, you also know he loves to travel — especially when good food is involved. 😂

The photo below is Mark at a recent Greek food festival, but his culinary adventures don't stop there. Most recently, he traveled to Italy, where he took a cooking class at a restaurant that actually shared his last name — Pancrazio.

Yep. That really happened.

And because this is BNI, that experience was made possible through another one of our members, Natalie, our travel advisor, who helped put the trip together.

That’s what makes BNI special. The relationships go far beyond business referrals — they turn into friendships, experiences, and some pretty great stories.

Thanks for a great presentation yesterday, Mark, and for everything you continue to bring to BNI 41 North. We appreciate you, brother! 👊

Yesterday afternoon we said something was stirring. Today, we're pulling back the curtain (cobwebs and all) on the faces behind it. 🕸️🕯️

🎃 Something is stirring at BNI 41 North… 👀

Tomorrow marks the beginning of a NEW year for 41 North.

New faces.
New leadership.
New energy.
And… possibly a new home. 🏠👻

Over the past year, this little chapter has grown quite a bit. So much, in fact, that our current meeting space may soon be feeling a little… haunted by the sound of too many people trying to fit in one room. 😂

Something bigger may be lurking just around the corner. 🕸️

🕯️ New leadership takes over tomorrow.
🎃 A new meeting location could be coming soon.
👀 And we’re not done growing yet.
