HVAC • Pipefitting • Commercial Carpentry
Teach Apprentices • $45/hr • 2 Nights a Week

Rhode Island Construction Training Academy (RICTA) in Pawtucket is seeking licensed professionals in HVAC, Pipefitting and Carpentry to teach apprentices and help shape the future of the trades.

🛠️ Position Details:
📅 2 nights a week • 6–9 PM
📍 249 Roosevelt Ave, Pawtucket, RI
💰 Starting Pay: $45 + an hour

🎯 Requirements:
✔️ Must be licensed in your trade
✔️ Ample hands-on experience
✔️ No teaching experience necessary—just passion and know-how!

👨‍🏫 Your Role:
You'll guide apprentices through hands-on, real-world training to prepare them for rewarding careers in the trades. Share your knowledge. Inspire the next generation. Leave a legacy.

In addition, we are gauging interest for the Massachusetts 6-Hour Continuing Education Course required for Massachusetts electricians.

Carpentry Teacher – Immediate Openings
Rhode Island Construction Training Academy is seeking skilled Carpentry Teachers to instruct students in carpentry, woodworking, and finishing. This role prepares students for careers in residential and commercial construction through hands-on training and classroom instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach students the fundamentals of the carpentry trade. (see attached flyer for what each year covers).
• Deliver instruction using approved curriculum on carpentry techniques, materials, and safety.
• Foster craftsmanship, teamwork, and a strong work ethic in students.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain a safe learning environment.
Qualifications:
• Hands-on carpentry experience and/or formal education or certification in the trade.
• Ability to read and teach blueprint interpretation and construction techniques.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to mentor.
• No teaching experience required—just a passion for sharing knowledge.
Schedule:
• Two nights per week, 6:00–9:00 PM (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday).
