PeaceLove programs strive to help people find their voice, make meaningful connections, and discover new tools for wellness. Our workshops provide an easy, low-pressure way to find emotional relief through simple creative activities that foster a more joyful journey to peace of mind. Our CREATORS Program equips frontline professionals to bring our expressive arts curriculum to their communities. From schools, to prisons, to hospitals, our CREATORS work with individuals, families, and groups to help them share their emotions and create without the fear of judgement.

The Creative Leaders Project was created to allow students to become peer leaders in introducing expressive arts to middle and high school students. Lessons have been carefully crafted to allow adolescents to lead their peers through expressive art workshops that embrace creativity, mindfulness, collaboration, and storytelling.

Christine Gregorek and Joann Barao from Fashion for Friends paid a visit to PeaceLove today to present a check with proceeds from their recent fashion show. The fundraiser benefitted families impacted by youth mental health issues and women impacted by a breast cancer diagnosis. These two areas are near and dear to our hearts, and we are so proud to have CREATORS doing lifesaving work in these areas.

We are beyond grateful for their generous donation, which will go towards getting expressive arts into the hands of more individuals that need them!

Earlier this week, Mia–along with Artie, of course–had the privilege of traveling to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, to present to their Certified Therapeutic Recreational Therapists as part of their professional development series. Mia loved getting to hangout with these motivated individuals who make such a big impact with the work they do everday!!

We hope to see you this Saturday at the Rally 4 Recovery! Our Development Director Abbie has been a part of this organization for the better part of a decade and you will find her there volunteering this weekend.

The Rally 4 Recovery is a day of celebration, community, and hope. We love the recovery community. We love celebrating their lives, their joy, and their resilience. We are told that the Rally is still in need of volunteers, so check out their website to learn how you can contribute to this very special event!
