More seniors, more stamps! Alex Farwell got some stamps in his passport by creating a resume, attending a college fair and learning more information in a financial planning presentation. Alex plans on attending Nebraska Transition College and after his time there he will plan his next steps. He really liked Nebraska Wesleyan and UNO at the college fair!

Did you know that Alex was 1 of 48 Nebraska seniors who were selected as a Believer and Achiever?! Great work Alex!!

The seniors are continuing to earn more stamps for their passports! Brysen Horst was able to earn three stamps with the events that were part of Apply2College Day: applying to college, attending a college fair and participating in a financial planning workshop. Brysen is planning on attending SCC Milford and he would like to be an electrician. Great work Brysen!

Apply2College Day! What a fun day! We had 15 college representatives visit with our kids on their next steps and EducationQuest presented on financial aid. Seniors were able to spend time applying to college, working on resumes and starting the FAFSA! The kindergartners had a special surprise for our seniors and we were able to celebrate our seniors!

Thanks to all the college representatives, EducationQuest and Arleys for lunch!

It's the final day of trivia, so we had five trivia questions!

Question #1: What teacher went to college with an NFL star who played for Patriots, Jets, Ravens and Chargers?

If you guessed Mr. Horejs, you are correct! Mr. Kluck's homeroom got that answer correct!

Question #2: What teacher hid a cat in their dorm room?

Mr. Kluck's homeroom got another answer correct with the answer being Mrs. A!

PC students got to attend an event at Peru State College called, REACH (Raising Education Awareness Creating Hope). This event was than a college visit. It was a day centered around learning more about the education field, finding your passion and pursuing it. The kids had to work in teams, communicate and solve problems.

Lots of hands on learning at the SCC Careers in Construction Day at Milford! The students got to trim windows and doors, build rafters, electrical wiring and so much more! There were a few PC alums who helped our current PC students through the stations!
