We kicked off field trips this week... starting with a trip to the Pawleys beach for a turtle nest inventory! 🐢

This was the coolest field trip and we are so grateful for all of the folks at SCUTE for rearranging their schedule so our scholars could attend.

One of our favorite ways to celebrate the new school year and enjoy our stingray family is with a staff cookout!

The Stingray Staff had a great first day back yesterday! We wore our tie dyes, boarded a bus and headed South to GHS to join all of the GCSD schools for a back-to-school pep rally and listen to an inspirational speaker. We are so excited to get the classrooms set up and welcome our smiling stingrays soon!

Welcome to the last week of school! CMCS follows the elementary schedule and will dismiss at 11:00 AM on Thursday and Friday.

**Reminder for GCSD Families**

Thursday, May 28 and Friday, May 29 are half-days for students in Georgetown County School District.

Dismissal Times:
• Elementary Schools — 11:00 a.m.
• Intermediate Schools — 11:15 a.m.
• Middle & High Schools — 12:15 p.m.

As the school year comes to a close, families are also encouraged to complete online registration for the 2026–2027 school year as soon as possible to avoid delays with:
• Class placement
• Course scheduling
• Transportation assignments
• Homeroom assignments

Registration is completed online through the Parent Portal using a web browser at gcsd.powerschool.com. Registration cannot be completed through the Parent Portal app.
