❤️🖤 Student Council is ALIVE and WELL at WMS! 🖤❤️
Our hallways are decorated, the excitement is building, and our students are making sure everyone knows that Student Council Elections are coming! 🗳️📣
We LOVE seeing so many of our students stepping up, showing their creativity, and proudly advertising for the upcoming elections! It’s exciting to see their leadership, school spirit, and Warrior Pride on full display!

🍫 The World’s Finest Chocolate Fund Raiser is here!! This is our one school wide fund raiser that takes place during the year and we need your help. Students who participate in the fund raiser will participate in our celebration in October and will have the opportunity to play games and win prizes. CASH PRIZES! Permission slips need to turned by start of day Friday, September 4th and chocolate will be handed out prior to dismissal that day. The more boxes your student sells, the more opportunities for prizes they will have. Our goal school wide is to sell 200 boxes school wide. If you have any questions please contact Mr. Bonser.

We are incredibly proud to share this wonderful feature from the Coastal Observer highlighting what makes Waccamaw Middle School such a special place to learn, grow, and belong.

Being named Palmetto’s Finest was an incredible honor, but this article reminds us that the award is about so much more than test scores. It’s about school culture, relationships, student voice, high expectations, and creating a place where kids want to be.

At WMS, we believe students can work hard AND play hard. We believe every child should have a trusted adult, a place where they belong, and a voice in making their school better.

We are so proud of our students, teachers, staff, families, and community who make Warrior Nation what it is every single day. This recognition belongs to all of you!

We just can’t hide that Warrior Pride!

A 104-degree heat index called for indoor recess last week. And somehow, Waccamaw Middle still had music playing and board games out.

Principal Ginny Haynes isn’t required to do any of it — state law just says feed the kids in 20 minutes. She does a lot more than the minimum.

Waccamaw United Night at WHS Stadium for Friday Night Lights was INCREDIBLE! ❤️🖤
From the chorus singing the National Anthem to our amazing cheerleaders, dancers, and band musicians, our Waccamaw Warriors showed up and showed out! 🎶📣💃🎺
It was such a special night filled with talent, school spirit, and, of course, Warrior Pride! ❤️🖤

Some of our Lady Warriors showed off their talents on the volleyball court Thursday, competing on both the JV and B teams! 🏐❤️🖤
