‼️UPDATE‼️

There seems to be some confusion regarding our Jr & Littles and I would like to clear the air. They will be crowned in September at the Paw Paw Festival. They will not be in the Memorial Day parade this year. This year will act as a transition year and we apologize for any confusion. We are doing what we truly think is best for this to grow. We’ve made Miss Paw Paw into a Not for Profit and hope to continue growing.

Any questions or concerns please address them to (myself) Haley Twigg or the Miss Paw Paw page. Do NOT message Courtney Moreland as she is on break with her precious new baby and does not need to be bothered at this time.

Any continued nasty remarks or harassment from this point further will disqualify your child from running in the future.

Be sure to come out to the Memorial Day parade on May 23 to show your support! We’ll be wishing some extra luck to Joselyn that day at the State Track meet!

Hey guys!

Courtney and I have decided to extend the due date for Miss Paw Paw to Friday, April 24 at midnight. I am currently going through a personal family matter and Courtney is getting ready to welcome her precious baby any day now. This just gives us a little more time to get things situated & planned. Please bare with us.

The goal is to have the winner and runner up notified by Tuesday, April 28. Then set a crowning date that works for everyone! If you’ve already submitted your essay and want to revise anything, please use this time to do so. We will use your most recently submitted essay. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.

We’re looking forward to crowning the next Miss Paw Paw🤍

Miss Paw Paw applications are out!

They are due April 19!

Please don’t let the possibility of a scheduling conflict discourage you from applying. For example - Going to state for Track. We WILL understand. We understand that it’s a small school and many of you are involved in multiple activities. We encourage everyone who wants to apply to do so.

This years essay topic is: A Letter to America on its 250th Birthday: A persuasive or reflective letter addressing the nation's strengths and hopes.

Winner will receive $100 (cash), tiara, & sash. Runner up will receive $50 (cash), tiara, & sash.

🤍Friendly reminder that voting is completely anonymous and is outsourced. We want everything to be as fair as possible!

❗️Miss Paw Paw Update❗️

After some careful consideration we are beginning the process of making a few changes -

This year we will crown only Miss Paw Paw and the first runner up for the Memorial Day parade.

Now before you start to panic; we are not getting rid of our Jr and Little Miss categories. We are beginning the transition to crowning in September, so that the girl’s reign is throughout the calendar school year. We are hoping to have crowning during the Paw Paw Festival in September, pending approval. Our crowned Miss Paw Paw & runner up will be invited back to the 2027 Memorial Day parade and a new one will be crowned that following September.

We love our girls and how we have been able to grow Miss Paw Paw the last few years and truly want the best. If you have any questions or concerns please direct them to the page and we will answer promptly!🤍

The town’s Christmas parade is approaching fast! Come out for an evening of fun. The Miss Paw Paw girls will be walking in the parade and Miss Paw Paw will be lighting the Lights of Love tree 🎄

There’s a crafts fair at the fire hall the same day and word has it Santa will be there!🎅🏻
