End-of-Day Car Pickup Reminder

Families, please take a moment to review our new end-of-day car pickup procedures and locations. Please pay close attention to the designated pickup areas for 3rd grade and 4th/5th grade.

To help ensure a safe and smooth end-of-day dismissal, families needing to pick up a student early should call the front office before 3:30 p.m. and plan to pick up their student prior to that time. After 3:30 p.m., early pickups will only be permitted for emergencies. This helps us maintain the flow of traffic and safely prepare students for dismissal.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we get everyone into the new routine safely and efficiently!

Welcome to a brand-new school year! Paw Paw Later Elementary invites all of our students and families to join us for our Back to School Open House. Come tour the classrooms, meet your teachers, and get ready for an amazing year ahead!

Paw Paw Later Elementary would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Midwest Energy & Communications (MEC) for supporting our students through their generous grant award!

Thanks to MEC's investment, we were able to purchase 156 new books spanning 49 different titles to expand classroom and school library collections for our 3rd-5th grade students.

Our students will soon be diving into incredible stories and series such as The Wild Robot, Percy Jackson & the Olympians, Wings of Fire, Magic Tree House, I Survived, The Last Kids on Earth, The One and Only Ivan, Fish in a Tree, Ghost, Bud, Not Buddy, and many more. We also added engaging nonfiction titles to help spark curiosity in history, science, and biography.

These books will inspire a love of reading, support literacy growth, and provide students with access to a wide variety of genres and interests for years to come.

Thank you, Midwest Energy & Communications, for investing in our students and helping turn the page toward a brighter future one book at a time!

We understand that families like to plan ahead for vacations, child care, and other commitments. The complete 2026-27 district calendar is currently being finalized and will be shared with families once it is complete. 📚

🚌 Reminder: Don't Miss the Bus Registration Deadline! Complete your student's 2026-2027 Bus Registration by Friday, July 24th.

✅ Every student MUST be registered before they are permitted to ride a Paw Paw Public Schools bus.

📱✨ The PPPS Transportation Team is excited to launch the MyRide K-12 app this school year, making it easier to access your student's transportation information. Bus registrations can be completed directly through the MyRide K-12 app.

🏀 Youth Girls Basketball Camp 🏀

Calling all future basketball stars! Join us for our Youth Girls Basketball Camp and develop your skills, build confidence, and have fun on the court!
