A huge THANK YOU to all of the families who joined us yesterday! We were thrilled to welcome so many new Panthers to the Pauls Valley family and reconnect with our returning students. Your excitement for the upcoming school year made Day 1 a great success!

Many of our families shared that daytime enrollment can be difficult with work schedules. To better serve our Panther community, we've extended our enrollment hours on Monday, August 3!

🕘 District-Wide Enrollment for ALL Students (Including New Students)
📍 Pauls Valley High School Gym

🗓 Monday, August 3: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Extended Evening Hours!)
🗓 Tuesday, August 4: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
🗓 Wednesday, August 5: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

📢 District-Wide Enrollment is required for ALL students, including those who pre-enrolled this spring.

If you completed spring pre-enrollment, thank you! Your paperwork has already reduced much of the enrollment process. However, all families must still attend to complete required annual forms that cannot be finalized until July, including:

✅ Economically Disadvantaged Form (Formerly Free and Reduced Lunch Application)
✅ Bus Rider Information
✅ Parent/Guardian & Emergency Contact Updates
✅ Site-Specific School Forms

If you are unable to attend District-Wide Enrollment on these dates, please contact your student's school office beginning August 3 to make arrangements to complete the required enrollment paperwork.

School is almost back in session, so let's send summer out with a splash!
Grab your water blasters, stock up on water balloons, and join us for the Back-to-School Water Fight Parade! Everyone is invited to participate in this fun-filled community event as we soak our way through Downtown Pauls Valley.
Whether you're walking, riding on a float, or just ready for an epic water battle, this is your chance to celebrate the end of summer with friends, family, and neighbors.

Bring your water blasters! Bring your water balloons! Be ready to get soaked!

The parade will wrap up at The Depot, where the fun continues with:

🍎 FREE SCHOOL BREAKFAST & LUNCH FOR ALL PAULS VALLEY STUDENTS! 🍎

Pauls Valley Public Schools is excited to announce that all enrolled students will receive one healthy breakfast and one healthy lunch each school day at NO CHARGE during the 2026-2027 school year through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).

✅ No meal application is required.
✅ Every enrolled student qualifies.
✅ Every student can enjoy nutritious meals at school at no cost to families.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please Complete the Economic Disadvantaged Form

Although families do not need to complete a meal application, every family will be asked to complete an Economic Disadvantaged Form as part of the enrollment packet.

This form is extremely important because it helps determine funding that directly supports our students and schools. The information collected is used to help Pauls Valley Public Schools qualify for state and federal funding that provides resources such as:

📚 Academic programs and instructional support
👩‍🏫 Additional teachers and staff
💻 Technology and classroom resources
🚌 Student services and educational opportunities
❤️ Programs that benefit all students across the district

Completing this form does NOT determine whether your child receives free meals—all students already qualify through CEP. However, it does help ensure our district receives the funding it has earned and needs to continue providing outstanding opportunities for our students.

📚☀️ SUMMER READING CHALLENGE! ☀️📚

Pauls Valley Schools is excited to share the Second Lady's 2026 Summer Reading Challenge for students entering Kindergarten through 8th grade!

Students are encouraged to read and track 12 books of their choice between June 1 and September 4, 2026. Every book counts! After completing the challenge, participants can submit their reading log and reflection to receive a personalized certificate, a commemorative America 250 bookmark, and a special prize opportunity.

As an added bonus, students who complete the challenge will be entered for a chance to visit Washington, D.C. and the White House with a chaperone.

📖 Read 12 books
📝 Complete the reading log and reflection
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Have a parent/guardian sign the submission form
📅 Submit by September 4, 2026

Summer is the perfect time to discover new adventures through reading. We encourage all PVPS students to participate and make reading part of their summer fun!
