Are you an outdoor educator? A wilderness enthusiast? Or maybe just a life long learner?

The Leave No Trace Leave No Trace level two master educator course might be perfect for you!

For five days in the stunning Adirondack Mountains, you will learn and teach the principles of Leave No Trace and discuss wilderness ethics. Your group will be a mixture of federal agency personnel, outdoor educators, guides and outfitters, outdoor retailers and private individuals.

NOLS offers a unique backcountry educational experience. While our acronym emphasizes leadership, you’ll also learn backcountry cooking, map reading, Leave No Trace principles, and practical wilderness skills. And if you ask our 12- and 13-year-old students, they’ll tell you one more essential skill: juggling!

We have to ask: what front-country school can match the depth of learning, adventure, and personal growth that this experience provides?

Yesterday the Summer Search Boston Youth Combo Course was sent into the field! These students will hike and canoe for a total of 14 days. During their course, they will traverse through challenging Adirondack terrain, paddle in wonderful river and lakes, camp in classic lean-tos, and learn the leadership skills NOLS is known for!
