ReAwakening my heart, thoughts and vision to what and who actually created the momentum for the past 20 years ...

It was Her!
Her was a united Her, Kelly, my heart horse, and I taking on challenges, exploring my new - beautiful farm together, and praying for healing, stability, courage and purpose. 🙏

She carried me, literally, through the most challenging of times in my life. She was stable, kind, and spirited. She was a leader and a follower, she was ready for an adventure and perfectly happy to meander around in her green pasture with her best friends, Cassie, Zippy, and Twister. 💗

She carried me through heartbreak and grief. She pushed me to learn from my heart and not my head. She is the reason Peaceful Acres Horses rescue was birthed in 2007. She gave me the nudge, the clarity, confidence and healing to embrace my vision, conquer my fears, eliminate the mountains - hurdles I perceived to be in my way. 💜

I just completed 4 days of The Time to Rise Summit led & facilitated by Tony Robbins & Sage Robbins. The experience guided me to look back (feel - truly feel) and venture forward with a renewed confidence, identity, story, momentum, and love for what is still yet to come. 💜

Although Kelly no longer carries me through pastures, trails and helping others to find hope and resiliency, her spirit and energy still guide my vision and hold my heart. 💜

My once in a lifetime relationship that truly changed the trajectory of my life and led to magnificent life changing transformations for people and equines. 💜

This picture is the one picture out of so many that still to this day holds the heart and meaning behind my Why. 💜🙏🐎

Cultivating positive, beneficial and exceptional leadership begins with learning those skills from an early age. We partner our incredible horses and minis into this highly beneficial and transformational personal growth coaching experience for youth and adults.

The topic; Beneficial Boundaries, is one that the horses and I LOVE to facilitate! They sure seem to know how to identify when we are unclear, unsure, maybe even feeling uneasy with setting Beneficial Boundaries.

This retreat is open to only 8 women so we are able to have a cohesive, meaningful, and motivated group whose intentions are to personally grow. ☺️

I hope you are all doing well and heading out of 2024 in a positive, rewarding and upbeat way! 💜

For those of us that just felt a sad tingle in our hearts, or a memory of something came up that has us unsettled, I Get It! 💜

Maybe you are dealing with a loss, heartbreak over the end of a job, relationship or you are facing some turmoil with someone you love. Maybe you are sick and tired of feeling unheard or unimportant. I Get It. 🤗

Over the years I have researched the topic of boundaries; how to set them, how to clearly communicate them, how to respect other's boundaries, how to keep myself physically safe... And here's a major one... how to be mentally and emotionally safe - balanced and whole if someone is not honoring boundaries that have been set. (there was just a lot unpacked right there!)

For those who don't know my story, I wrote my book "In Search of Purpose ~ One Woman's Journey to Save and Restore Horses Who Bring Hope to People" to tell my story and the stories of the rescues at Peaceful Acres Horses - nonprofit organization in NY State . Many stories are attached to loss, grief, domestic abuse, neglect, physical, emotional, and fiscal insecurity. (pretty much all related to the lack of boundaries)

To say I've learned a whole bunch over the years about myself, my true self and my afraid, detached, reactive self is an absolute fact. 💜 The horses have taught me lessons in life that no person or even therapist could teach. 💜 No disrespect to my incredible therapist friends...you get it.

This topic is So Important to me that I'm beginning to facilitate it in January, one of the months at the farm that over the years I have feared! Yes, Feared - running a busy equine rescue sanctuary in the winter can be highly intimidating and daunting. 🤦‍♀️

January 18th eight women are going to have the opportunity to dive into the self-care, self-regulating, self-esteem building and learning how to have enhanced joy and peace through the clear consciousness and actions of setting Beneficial Boundaries. 💜

We are doing this incredible retreat with the horses! We are also going to dive into this topic with compassion, kindness and honoring each other. 💜 It's a safe and inspiring workshop.

When our hearts connect everything becomes clearer, more hopeful, and stable. 💕

We enjoyed another beautiful "In Search of Purpose" women's retreat experience with the rescued horses on Saturday. The horses helped us to open our hearts to the potential, purpose, joy and fulfillment within us. 💜

They guided us through thoughts of worry, self doubt, grief, and the question, "What's Next". They welcomed us into their lives, giving us their tenderness, attention and compassion.
