Konbah Leadership Academy Launches New Academic Year
-donates school bags to several students in Dixville
In a heartwarming display of community solidarity and generosity, the Konbah Leadership Academy has successfully launched its 2025/2026 academic year with a backpacks and school supplies drive.
The initiatives which provided essential materials to students is an initiative, spearheaded by the Academy’s leadership with support from its partners and donors.
The distributions of the backpacks filled with school supplies was donated to students who have registered, thus preparing them for enrollment.
The donation which covered both new and old students, took place in Dixville over the weekend, with school going children and parents gracing the occasion.
Making a brief remarks following the donation, the Chief Executive Officer, Madam Madia K. Moore expressed deep gratitude to the donors whose contributions made the drive possible.
“Your investment in our students’ education has created a lasting impact. Because of your generosity, our students are beginning the school year with confidence and the tools they need to succeed,” she said.
According to some parents who spoke to our reporter, described the drive as not only a logistical success but a powerful symbol of the Academy’s mission to support families faced with economic challenges in the country.
For his part, the proprietor of the school, Rev. Arthur N. Gbotoe expressed believe that every child deserves a fair start, adding that the initiative has brought the belief to reality.
Rev. Gbotoe used the occasion to recognize staffers for their tireless efforts in preparing and distributing supplies among the future leaders of the country.
He highlighted the dedication in ensuring smooth ex*****on of the initiative, pointing out the academy’s cultural service and care to the young generation.
With continued support from our donors and partners, he said, the academy will expand its impact and commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.
Also commenting, the Co-chair of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), Madam Comfort Kanneh, commended the vision bearer of the school for the donation.
‘We are grateful to God, to Konbah Leadership Academy’s CEO and proprietor for the incredible support to our children academic journey.”
The Konbah Leadership Academy was established in 2022 and officially opened in 2023/2024.
The institution since its establishment, has quickly become a beacon of educational hope in the community, ranking from its recent drive that had reinforced the school’s commitment to inclusive education and community empowerment.
As the academic year begins, the school stands as a testament to achieve unity among community dwellers for educational betterment.
