Another great guest speaker experience for our JAG students! ❤️🖤

Our JAG class was honored to welcome Kourtney Long with Schola Designs & Consulting and Danika Long with Parish Plug as guest speakers.

Students had the opportunity to learn firsthand about proper business etiquette, public speaking, professional communication, and the importance of presenting yourself confidently in the workplace. They also received valuable one-on-one guidance and real-world insight from two local professionals.

We are so thankful to Kourtney Long and Danika Long for taking the time to pour into our students and help prepare them for future success! 🌟

Coach Jennings’ scholars learned the importance of mental, social, and emotional health and wellness through engaging daily lessons and activities.

After completing the lessons, the scholars were divided into groups and challenged to compose and perform an original song related to school and their overall health and wellness.

After all groups performed, the scholars voted, and Group 2 was selected as the Best Performance! 🎶🏆

Congratulations to Zaana Roberson, Layla Lancon, and Adalyn Simon, who composed and performed their original song titled “Going to School.”

What a fun and creative way to demonstrate what they learned while building teamwork, confidence, creativity, and healthy self-expression! ❤️📚🎤

Great job, scholars! Keep learning, growing, and taking care of your total wellness—mentally, socially, and emotionally

Mrs. Marcantonio’s Business English students recently had the opportunity to take their classroom learning and connect it to real-world experience with special guest Mr. Joe Pasqua.

As students have been learning about team communication and the importance of sending clear, appropriate messages throughout an organization, they worked together to develop communication plans for scenarios involving emergencies, safety procedures, and policy updates.

Mr. Pasqua, who has served in high-ranking roles with the U.S. Coast Guard for more than 30 years, listened as students presented their plans and provided valuable feedback, suggestions, and examples from his own experiences.

We are so thankful for community members who take the time to share their knowledge and help our students see how the skills they are learning in the classroom are used in the real world. Thank you, Mr. Pasqua, for investing in our students! Our students loved having you!

PHS JAG students had the opportunity to hear from Jermaine Grimm, author of NIL Compliance & Wealth Generation: Name, Image & Likeness.

Mr. Grimm spoke with students about the importance of protecting their personal image and reputation, especially on social media. He shared how the choices students make online today can have a lasting impact on future opportunities, including college, athletics, careers, scholarships, and professional relationships.

A great reminder for our students that their name, image, and reputation matter, and what they post today can help shape the opportunities of tomorrow.

We’re so excited to welcome our Little Girls Cheer Clinic participants back to PHS, this time under the Friday Night Lights! 📣✨

Our future Lumberjack cheerleaders are invited to join the PHS Cheerleaders on October 8th at 7:00 PM and show off what they learned at camp! They’ll cheer during the 2nd quarter and halftime as we cheer on our Lumberjacks! 🪓🏈
