Today we celebrate 25 incredible years of serving our community. Established in 2001, our daycare and preschool has been a place where children grow, learn, and build the foundation for their future. Many families first knew us as First Steps, and in so many ways that name still reflects our mission.
Over the years, generations of families have come through our doors. Some of our former students have even returned as parents, trusting us with their own children. That kind of legacy is something truly special.
Our journey hasn’t always been easy. Like many institutions that have stood the test of time, we’ve faced our share of storms. At times the waters rose, both literally and figuratively, but each challenge only reminded us of how strong our foundation is. Every “flood” we faced became a reason to rebuild, grow stronger, and continue serving the families who trust us every day.
None of this would have been possible without the vision, resilience, and dedication of The Odom Family, also known as The Ofactor, whose commitment to this community has kept the mission alive for 25 years.
We also want to recognize the incredible staff who have helped shape this school. A special thank you to Mrs. Amie, who has been with us for the entire 25 years, and Mrs. Tennie, who has been with us for 15+ years and continues to pour love and care into the children here every day.
To every child, family, and teacher who has been part of this journey, thank you. Happy 25th Anniversary! 🎉
