This week, we had the opportunity to attend the NEPACT Follow-Up Forum, Collective Impact in a Divided World, where professionals came together to discuss important topics impacting children, families, and communities.

Sessions focused on early childhood community partnerships, family engagement in a post-pandemic world, collective impact workgroups, and policy updates shaping our field. Experiences like these help us stay informed, strengthen our expertise, and ensure that the professional development and training we provide is current, relevant, and impactful.

I had the honor of being part of an incredible event hosted by Adelphi University, focused on something we don’t talk about enough—financial empowerment.

Being in a room where the goal is to help people truly understand their money… that’s powerful.

I had the opportunity to speak on something that’s close to my heart—creating emergency savings. Because life will happen, and when it does, being prepared can make all the difference.

What I loved most about this experience was the energy—the willingness to learn, to grow, and to take control of your financial future.

Moments like this remind me why I do what I do… to educate, to empower, and to help people build stability not just for today—but for generations to come.
