❤️🤍🖤MESSAGE FROM THE TEAM ❤️🤍🖤

Good Morning, Raider Nation! Last night marked an extraordinary evening for our community. The success of both our School Budget and Bond proposition was truly monumental. We are thrilled to announce that our team has been re-elected to serve another three-year term.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Bryan Frascogna, Lauren Kuban, and Harold Valen for their active involvement in the election process. Special recognition goes to Pam Petersen and Michelle LaMartina for their exceptional leadership of the Bond Advisory Committee, and to Theresa Deleva, Pam Petersen, and the entire PTA Council for organizing a spectacular Meet the Candidates event.

We must extend a heartfelt thank you to every individual who contributed to making this event a resounding success, including the unwavering support from PMCT, CSEA, and all those involved. A special mention goes to Mr. Anthony Cracco our Athletic Director and Mr. Nate Brinkman our Director of Arts and Music for their visionary approach in utilizing bond revenues to provide our students with the resources they need and deserve.

We are deeply appreciative of the tireless work carried out behind the scenes by our Administration. A special thank you to Mr. Mazzie and his business office for all their hard work to prepare a balanced budget and getting the word out. Lastly, we commend Dr. Jones, our Superintendent, for demonstrating outstanding leadership and guidance throughout the entire process.

Our final thoughts, Dear Esteemed Members of the Patchogue-Medford Community,

We are deeply honored and humbled to have been re-elected to serve on The Patchogue-Medford Board of Education. Your overwhelming support, faith, trust, and confidence in me mean more than words can express. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to continue representing our community for the next three years.

We want to take this moment to extend our heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you who took the time to support us in every way possible, to vote, to engage with the issues and to participate in the democratic process that shapes the future of our schools and community. Your dedication to ensuring the best education for our children and the betterment of our community is truly inspiring.

As members of the Board of Education, we are committed to working tirelessly to uphold the values and principles that our community holds dear. We will strive to make decisions that are in the best interest of our students, teachers, staff, and families, and to promote an inclusive, supportive, and forward-thinking educational environment.

We are excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead, and are confident that together, we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and the future of our community. Your continued support and collaboration are invaluable, and we are grateful for the privilege to serve you.

Once again, thank you for your faith in us, for your trust in my abilities, and for your confidence in my commitment to our community. We look forward to working together to create a brighter future for all.

Patchogue-Medford Board of Education Trustee Jennifer A. Krieger

I am a city born and raised, Patchogue Village resident for the past 22 years. My husband and his family are lifelong residents. He was a single dad at the time that I relocated and my stepson is a 2006 graduate of Patchogue Medford High School. We are married 20 years and have two children who are now in 8th and 10th grades. I truly consider this amazing community my forever home and wouldn’t want to raise my family anywhere else.

My family and I are very active in the community. My husband is involved in local village politics. Our children have both been inducted to the NJHS, are former Scouts, very involved in their school buildings and volunteer along with my husband and I for various parks and recs events throughout the year.

The kids began school at a local private school until we switched them to meet the educational needs of my son seven years ago. It was the best decision we have ever made for them.

I have served on the River PTA and SEPTA executive boards. I am an active member of the children’s buildings’ PTAs and volunteer at events and school musicals. I also teach religion at St. Francis and was a former Girl Scout leader. I am a licensed social studies teacher, working as a TA at ESBOCES, where I also sit on my building’s DEI committee. I work there evenings testing adult English language learners. I have applied to NYS for my CTE license in business/marketing and am completing my K-12 special education certificate.

I decided to run for the school board three years ago, based on the recommendation of community members. With my children becoming older and more independent, when I was approached it felt like the next step in the natural progression of my involvement within the district and community. Since then, I have worked tirelessly to achieve the goals we have set forth as a district and have sat on various board committees including finance, technology and instructional, as well as the district’s special education committee.

I believe that I am a versatile asset on the board. I am an avid learner and not afraid to question if clarification or information is needed. I tend to play “the devil’s advocate” and take time to absorb all information, perspectives, and different opinions to see issues from all viewpoints. I am known to be approachable, fair, and listen empathetically and point people to the proper channel for answers. I am not blind to the issues that we face and look for creative solutions. I think clear communication between the district and all its stakeholders is imperative.

This district has been on a consistent, upwards trajectory over the past decade. I am very proud of the work that we have collaboratively accomplished with the superintendent and during my short time on the board, all while maintaining a balanced budget and a secure financial standing. If reelected, I will continue to work tirelessly to make sure that all voices are heard and that each and every student’s individual needs are met educationally, socially and emotionally.
