We provide a robust academic experience aimed at educating all young, inquiring minds. Our programming includes:
College prep courses
Advanced Placement (AP) classes
College Credit Plus (CCP) program
College and Career Pathways
Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and American Sign Language foreign language programs
Facebook/Meta-sponsored STEAM Lab
Self-contained gifted classrooms
Fine arts program
Various clubs, activities, and organizations such as Art Club, DECA, National Honor Society, Quiz Bowl, Student Council, Model UN, Chess Club, and Environmental Club
16 varsity high school sports and 10 competitive sports for middle school students

Many of our schools have been recognized by statewide organizations. Most recently, South Elementary was honored by the Ohio School Boards Association for a virtual career program. They have also been declared a Purple Star school for its commitment to serving and supporting military students and their families. West Elementary was presented a Bronze Award from the Ohio Department of Education for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)

What a fun way to wrap up a unit!

Miss Wheeler's class at Pathfinders Preschool celebrated the end of their clothing unit with a Pete the Cat inspired sensory walk, feeling textures like strawberries, blueberries, and mud right under their feet! Hands-on (or should we say feet-on!) learning at its best. 🍓🫐

Our Reading Quest was a fantastic success!

Broad Peak Elementary students and families set off on a medieval-themed literacy adventure, traveling through interactive stations like the Sound Forest, Word Builders Workshop, Vocabulary Vault, Comprehension Castle, and Fluency Arena. Along the way, our young adventurers practiced sounds, built words, unlocked new vocabulary, wrote their own quest stories, and curled up with a good book.

Thank you to all the families, staff, and students who made this an unforgettable night! 🏰

Start them early and it never feels like work!

STEM students at Lima Ridge are getting hands-on with the kind of skills that build careers, and they're having a great time doing it. We might just be looking at Licking Heights' future electricians and builders.

Thank you to Christina Sommerkamp, STEM Education and Gifted Intervention Specialist, for sharing this look at learning in action. Way to go, Hornets!

🏛️ Hands-on learning at Licking Heights Middle School!

7th graders in Mrs. Whaley's Social Studies classes brought different forms of government to life through a straw tower simulation, experiencing firsthand how power and decision-making work differently under each system.

The democracy group had to vote on every building decision, while the dictatorship group had just one student in complete control! A creative way to prepare students for their study of Ancient Greece.
