📍 Friday & Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
📍 Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Stop by to donate new school supplies, say hello to our volunteers, and help fill the bus! Every notebook, backpack, pencil, and pack of crayons will go directly to local children in our community.

A huge thank you to everyone who has already donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word! ❤️

Who says field trips are just for students? 🚌

Our newest Paso Schools teachers kicked off New Teacher Orientation with a bus tour of campuses and district facilities, getting to know the places and people that make our district special. A special shoutout to Coach Huff for taking the wheel!

Help us welcome our newest educators to the Bearcat family, and wish them an amazing year ahead!

This Saturday, Paso Robles High School Athletics will partner with Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services for the football program’s annual Emergency Action Plan training. Coaches, athletic personnel, and first responders will work through several emergency scenarios, including sudden cardiac arrest, head and neck injuries, exertional heat stroke, and significant fractures or dislocations.

Practicing these procedures together helps ensure everyone understands their role, strengthens coordination with our local first responders, and prepares our team to act quickly and confidently when every second counts. We’re grateful to Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services for sharing their expertise and helping us strengthen the systems that protect our student-athletes.

As a courtesy to our neighbors: the training will take place Saturday, August 1, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Ivan Huff track at PRHS. Community members may see emergency vehicles and response activity in the area, but please be assured that this is a planned training exercise—not an actual emergency.

Have you ever wished you had a greater voice in the decisions shaping our local schools?

Serving on the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees is an opportunity to make a meaningful, long-term difference for students, families, staff, and the broader Paso Robles community.

Board members help guide the direction of the District by adopting policies, overseeing the budget, setting priorities, monitoring student outcomes, and making decisions about programs, facilities, staffing, and the future of public education in our community.

You do not need to be an educator to serve. Strong trustees bring a willingness to listen, study complex issues, ask thoughtful questions, work collaboratively, and keep students at the center of every decision.

Three seats will appear on the November 3, 2026, General Election ballot, representing Trustee Areas 1, 2, and 4. The candidate filing period is open through August 7, 2026.

Eligible candidates must:

• Be a U.S. citizen and at least 18 years old
• Be legally qualified to hold civil office
• Be a registered voter residing within PRJUSD boundaries
• Reside within Trustee Area 1, 2, or 4, depending on the seat sought

Residents can determine their Trustee Area by viewing the Trustee Area maps on the PRJUSD website at About Us > Board of Trustees > Maps by Trustee Area. Information about candidate qualifications, filing requirements, and election procedures is available through the San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder’s Elections Office.

Our schools benefit when engaged community members are willing to step forward, learn, listen, and lead. Could that person be you?

Construction is underway on the new Paso Robles High School cosmetology classroom!

The first photos show the space as it looks today. The third image is an AI-generated concept image created using the project floor plan and planned finishes. It's not an official architectural rendering or an exact depiction of the completed classroom, but it offers a fun glimpse of how the space could come together.

Plans call for an industrial-style black ceiling with exposed ductwork, polished concrete floors, warm Swiss Coffee walls, black salon and shampoo chairs, individual styling stations with mirrors, a reception desk, and a small waiting area. The classroom will also include dedicated spaces for hair, skincare, manicures, and pedicures.

There is still plenty of work ahead, but we're excited to watch this new Career Technical Education space take shape for our first cohort of cosmetology students!

We arrived at Paso Robles High School this morning planning to take a few construction progress photos of the new cosmetology classroom.

As we were leaving, two football players walked up out of nowhere and asked, “Ma’am, are you hungry?” Before we could even answer, they handed us a plate piled high with pancakes, sausage, and fresh fruit.

Curious (and grateful!), we followed our nose to the source and found the PRHS Football team’s pancake breakfast in full swing. Parent volunteers were serving tables full of breakfast (“you’re gonna need more-have some more sausage!”), and players were carrying extra meals around campus, making sure the leftovers didn’t go to waste.

Aside from the surprise plate of hand-delivered deliciousness, what struck us most was the spirit behind it.

The parents we met were incredibly welcoming. The players were kind, respectful, and eager to share. There was a genuine sense of hospitality, generosity, and teamwork that was impossible to miss.

To the families and volunteers who gave their time this morning: thank you! And to the players who thought to share what they had with others around campus, thank you for reminding us that being a Bearcat is about a lot more than what happens under the Friday night lights.

That’s a pretty special way to start a season! LET’S GO BEARCATS! 🐾
