School may be out for summer, but healthy meals are still on the menu.

Paso Schools' Summer Meals Program provides free meals for children and teens at community locations throughout Paso Robles all summer long.

📍 Downtown Library — Tuesdays at 12 p.m.
📍 Oak Park — Wednesdays at 12 p.m.
📍 Culinary (1900 Golden Hill Road) — Wednesdays at 12 p.m.
📍 Centennial Pool — Fridays at 12 p.m.

Service begins today (June 9) and continues through the end of July.

Liberty and Independence High School Class of 2026 celebrated a major milestone alongside family members, friends and staff as graduates crossed the stage and received their diplomas on June 4. The evening also marked a historic moment for Liberty High School, as Jocelyn Rios (pictured at left in the featured image) became the school's first recipient of the Seal of Biliteracy.

Preschool enrollment is open at Marie Bauer Early Learning Center!

PRJUSD is now enrolling age-eligible children in its State Preschool Program, where students learn and grow through hands-on, play-based experiences, small-group activities, and large-group instruction designed to support early childhood development.

Program details:
• Children born between September 2, 2021 and December 1, 2023 may be eligible
• Monday–Friday, 3 hours per day
• AM and PM sessions available
• Free for qualifying families through the State Preschool Program
• Full-day and aftercare options are available for an additional fee

Interested families are encouraged to complete the interest form and learn more about enrollment opportunities.

⚠️ Traffic Advisory for Graduates & Graduation Guests ⚠️

The City of Paso Robles has closed the intersection of Niblick Road and Creston Road due to a sinkhole and emergency repair work. The closure is expected to remain in place for much of today.

Guests attending graduation ceremonies at War Memorial Stadium this evening should plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes to reach the venue.

Parking remains available at the Paso Robles Event Center, with shuttle service provided to and from War Memorial Stadium.

Please drive carefully, follow posted detours, and give yourself additional time to arrive and pass through security screening before the ceremony begins.

🎓 Valedictorian: Kingston Anguiano (4.84 GPA)
🎓 Salutatorian: Quinn Kobayashi (4.81 GPA)

Kingston and Quinn earned the highest grade point averages in their graduating class while balancing rigorous coursework, student leadership, athletics, and campus involvement.

This fall, both students will attend UCLA, where Kingston plans to study Environmental Science and Quinn plans to study Business Economics.
