Great opportunity for our local students

New transfer program allows some local college students to earn Cal Poly degrees on Hancock or Cuesta campuses Cal Poly has announced the creation of a new program that will allow some transfer students from Allan Hancock College and Cuesta College to earn four-year degrees on the two community college campuses.

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing students go through the program and have a passion for teaching and appreciation of children that is infectious. This is Audrey Hughes. Audrey was not only a Bearcat but also a Bearkitten. It was more than clear when she graduated that she would not only go on to touch many little lives but have her own classroom. She graduated in 2020 and started teaching Kindergarten in Santa Barbara this week. I am so very proud of her 🫶🏻🙌😊
