The 2026–2027 school year is just around the corner, and we're excited to welcome our students back to Pasco School District!

⚠️ Important Reminder: School start and dismissal times have changed for the 2026–2027 school year. In addition, all Pasco schools will now follow a Wednesday early release schedule. Please review the guide for your school's exact start, dismissal, and Wednesday release times before school begins.

Message from our amazing school Principal.

“Thank you, families, for a wonderful 2025–2026 school year!

It has been a joy watching your students shine through their academic growth and social-emotional development. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished this year.

To our 5th-grade students who are moving on to middle school, we wish you the very best as you begin this exciting new chapter. For our returning students, we look forward to welcoming you back and are excited to see what the 2026–2027 school year will bring. We can't wait to share in all the learning, growth, and memorable experiences ahead.

If you have a child who will be 5 years old by August 31, please be sure to register them for kindergarten as soon as possible.

Our office will remain open June 15–18 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., closing daily from 12:00–1:00 p.m. for lunch. The office will then be closed for the summer and will reopen on August 18.

Please remember that our new playground is not yet open. Help keep your children safe by reminding them that as long as the playground is fenced off, it is not ready for use.

Class assignments for the 2026–2027 school year will be sent out in mid-August.

We look forward to seeing our 1st–5th grade students back on September 1, and welcoming our kindergarten students on September 3!

☀️🎉 What a wonderful way to end an incredible school year!

The 2025–2026 school year was filled with memorable events, meaningful learning experiences, new friendships, and so much growth. We are proud of all that our students, staff, and families have accomplished together.

As we head into summer, we wish everyone a season full of fun, relaxation, and adventure. Thank you for being part of our amazing Comet community and for helping make this year so special!
