Yesterday, we had the opportunity to come together for our Memorial Day Hike in honor of the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. A special thank you to our two veteran speakers, who gave a meaningful tribute to their fallen brothers and shared what this day means on a deeply personal level.

We are grateful for our CBC military-affiliated students, families, staff, faculty, and community members who continue to show up and support our shared commitment to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

This year’s Letters to Heroes project brought together students, staff, and community partners to share messages of gratitude with those who’ve served. With help from the Boys & Girls Club and their Torch Club, Friends of Disabled Veterans, GESA, and so many generous volunteers, we were able to personally thank 271 veterans in person across our campus and community.
We had a few veterans in tears with how much they appreciated the recognition. A huge thank-you to everyone who wrote, delivered, and shared these letters, your words made a difference.

🎓🇺🇸 V.E.T.S. Graduation BBQ Recap! 🇺🇸🎓

We had an incredible time celebrating our graduating student veterans at the V.E.T.S. Graduation BBQ! It was a great afternoon filled with food, fun, and fellowship as we honored the achievements of our grads.

A special thank you to Texas Roadhouse in Kennewick for supporting our veterans by providing the amazing BBQ — your support helped make the celebration even more memorable!

Our focus was on living a life worthy of their sacrifice. 🇺🇸

We walked in honor of those who gave everything in service to our country, and we reflected on how we can carry their legacy forward through purpose, community, and gratitude.

We had a great time with Vets on the Slopes.

This program helps veterans get out and enjoy Ski Bluewood and all that it has to offer. Skyline Adventures and Anthony Chester do a wonderful job in taking care of our veterans.

We are excited for next year!
