Dear Kingspoint Families,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our beloved staff member, Margaret passed away yesterday evening.
Margaret was a valued member of our Kingspoint family for over 20 years who touched the lives of many students, families, and staff through her kindness, dedication, and servant’s heart. She loved Jesus and shared with her students about Him daily. She faithfully invested in our students and helped make our school a place where children felt cared for and encouraged. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As a school community, we recognize that this news may bring a variety of emotions for both students and adults. We encourage you to talk with your children at home, reminding them that it is okay to feel sad, confused, or have questions.
Even in our sorrow, we hold tightly to the hope we have in Christ. Scripture reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18). We pray that God’s peace and comfort will surround Margaret’s family and all who are grieving this loss.
Many members of our school community have asked how they can help during this difficult time. If you would like to support by contributing toward funeral expenses, donations may be made through Kingspoint. You can use the link below or drop off donations at Kingspoint from 7:30-3:00 Monday- Thursday, Friday 7:30-12:00.

All funds collected will be given directly to assist with the unexpected costs her son Matt is facing. While there is no obligation to give, we know our Kingspoint community has always responded with generosity and compassion when others are in need.
We will also share information regarding memorial services and additional ways to support the family as those details become available.
May we continue to be the hands and feet of Christ, caring for one another and bearing each other’s burdens.
In Christ,
Molly Helton
