What do the revised Washington State ELA Standards mean for teaching and learning? Join us on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 4-5:30 p.m. via Zoom as we take a closer look at the Washington State English Language Arts Standards and what they mean for classroom instruction.

Together, we'll:
✔️ Explore the purpose behind the revisions
✔️ Examine key shifts in the 2026 ELA Standards
✔️ Discuss how the updates build on effective elementary literacy practices

Through reflection and discussion, participants will begin identifying instructional opportunities that promote student agency, collaboration, sensemaking, and purposeful literacy learning.

Whether you're preparing for implementation or simply want a better understanding of the changes, this session will provide practical insights to support your work.
