The 2026 Fire Cubs Program will begin accepting applications on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 9:00 AM. Applications will be available on the City of Pascagoula’s website. (The direct link will be posted on April 1).

The Fire Cubs Program is 100% funded through sponsors and donations. Community support is what allows us to provide this opportunity for the youth of our city. If you are interested in volunteering, sponsoring the program, or making a donation, we would love your support as we work together to make this program possible for the kids in our community.

The Pascagoula Fire Cubs are back for 2026, and we are kicking off sponsorship and donation efforts now.

Fire Cubs is a summer fire camp for kids ages 7 to 11, where they get hands-on experience learning about fire safety, teamwork, and what it takes to be a firefighter. This will be our third year running the program, and each year it continues to grow thanks to community support.

We are currently looking for local businesses, organizations, and individuals who would like to sponsor or donate to help make the 2026 camp possible. Sponsorships help cover supplies, shirts, activities, and overall camp costs so we can keep this program free for local kids.

Attached is our sponsorship flyer outlining the available sponsorship levels. Sponsorships are a great way to support the program, but they are not the only way to help. Donations of any amount are also greatly appreciated and go directly toward making the 2026 Fire Cubs camp possible.

We need our community once again, yall have helped us more than we can count but we need your help. Once again we have been dealt with an undesirable blow. One of our own Captain Jay Yates 7 y/o daughter has been diagnosed with leukemia. They have a long road ahead and we are doing the what we can to alleviate their worries so they can focus on treatment. We are doing a Boston Butt drive for the Super Bowl. Please help us get this out and spread the word

Come join us for the Pascagoula Fire Department’s Stop, Drop, and Scream event!

Join us on October 30th starting at 5 p.m. for an evening of family-friendly fun. We’ll have station trick-or-treating and a fire prevention–themed haunted house designed to entertain and educate visitors of all ages.

This event is free and open to the public, so bring your family and friends for a fun and safe Halloween experience with your Pascagoula firefighters!

The guys have been working hard to get this ready for you.

As the 2025 Fire Cubs program wraps up, we want to take a moment to say how truly grateful we are for the past two weeks. Thank you for trusting us with the opportunity to mentor, teach, and have a blast with your amazing kids! Over the past two weeks, we’ve shared life-saving skills, unforgettable hands-on experiences, and plenty of laughter. From learning fire prevention and first aid, to operating extinguishers, riding in the truck, search patterns, and even spraying the fire hose. These young Cubs dove into the world of firefighting with heart and courage. This program wasn’t just about fire safety, it was about teamwork, confidence, and planting seeds for the future. Thank you for allowing us to make a difference. Until next year, stay safe and keep that Fire Cub spirit alive!
