๐โค๏ธ CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: STILL GROWING, STILL STRIVING, STILL CES! โค๏ธ๐
We are proud to share that Central Elementary School earned a B rating on the 2025โ2026 Mississippi school accountability report!
For years, CES has been proud to earn an A rating, and while this yearโs rating represents a change, it does not define who we are or the work happening within our school. Accountability expectations have changed, and our results have challenged us to take an honest look at our data, celebrate our strengths, and identify where we must grow.
๐ Our students demonstrated strong performance in reading, and our ELA growth results showed improvement. We are especially proud of the hard work our students demonstrated on the third-grade reading assessment.
๐ At the same time, our data makes it clear that mathematics must be a major focus moving forward. We are committed to using this information to strengthen instruction, provide targeted support, and help every student reach their full potential.
To our teachers, support staff, families, and students: THANK YOU! Your dedication, love, and commitment to our children matter every single day. School improvement is a team effort, and we are ready to continue that work together.
A rating is a snapshot of performance during one accountability cycle. It is not the whole story of a school, its people, or its potential.
We know where we have been. We understand where we need to grow. And we are ready for the work ahead!
Our rating has changed, but our commitment has not. We are CES! ๐โค๏ธ
