Help Us Expand Student Support Services 💙
Student Support Services was created to provide students with a safe, structured, and supportive environment when they are facing disciplinary challenges at school, including suspension or temporary removal.
We recognize that when a child is suspended the consequences often extend beyond the student. Parents and guardians still have to work, maintain their households, and meet their financial responsibilities, while also trying to make sure their child is supervised, supported, and continuing to move forward.
Our goal is to provide a structured environment where students can receive supervision, conflict resolution, reflection, educational support, positive guidance, and an opportunity to make better choices while they are unable to attend their traditional school setting.
Student Support Services is not currently a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and we do accept payment for the services we provide. However, we are actively looking for ways to secure grants, community sponsorships, donations, and other forms of support so that we can reduce the financial burden on families.
💙 Here is where YOU can help.
We are looking for:
• Grant opportunities that could support youth development, education, mentoring, behavioral intervention, or alternative student services
• Businesses or organizations willing to sponsor student scholarships
• Community members willing to make contributions toward student services
• Organizations interested in partnering with us
• Individuals with experience securing grants or developing nonprofit/community programs
• Churches, foundations, and civic organizations that may have funding opportunities available
Our long-term goal is to create a Student Support Scholarship Fund that would allow eligible students to receive services at a reduced cost or potentially at no cost to their families.
Imagine a parent receiving a suspension notice and knowing they don’t have to choose between missing work, paying for childcare, or leaving their child without a structured environment.
That is the gap we want to help fill.
If you know of a grant, foundation, business, organization, church, or individual who may be interested in supporting this mission, please tag them, share this post, or send me a message.
We may not have all the resources yet, but we have the vision, the passion, and the willingness to build something that can make a real difference for students and families in our community.
Help us find the resources to help the families who need us most. 💙
