It’s SO obvious… If you don’t have any clients to work on, you don’t have any money. At what point, then, are you even a working hairstylist?

You either figure out how to become a WORKING hairstylist, or you give up – and how many beauty school graduates do YOU know who are no longer in the industry??

The problem with all of the training that hairdressers get, is that it is done WITH THE ASSUMPTION that you actually have clients to work on!

Why isn’t anybody talking about that????

Although most Cosmetology Schools do a fantastic job of educating their students, there is a recurring problem that arises.

Cosmetology Schools' responsibility is to prepare their students to pass the State Board Exam. What the newly licensed hairstylist quickly learns is that they need to find a job, their own client base, and fill in the gaps in their technical knowledge.

Stylists turn to Google searches, salon owners, hair shows and other stylists, but what they need is continued STRATEGIC advanced education that focuses on the business side of their profession.

The Salon University was created for stylists, by stylists with proven successful careers, and our education emphasizes Business, Marketing, and Customer Service, as well as Cut Design and Color - the targeted tools necessary to launch and maintain prosperous careers.

The Salon University's stylists complete workshops which result in valuable documents that will be required later in their career: resumes, cover letters, biographies for business profiles, and thank you notes to clients.

The Salon University offers industry-specific career guidance that parents may not be able to provide for their children who decide to become stylists.

Although stylists need the love 💕 and support 👏🏿 of their families, they also need advice from people who do what they do.
