Our first all-school assembly of the year on Tuesday was a sight to behold! The energy was contagious! Every year, I look forward to our student introductions of new faculty and staff, as well as the amazing displays of school spirit. Sixth graders are off on their Big Bear adventure! 🌲🐻🏕️ Our youngest Middle Schoolers are building friendships and getting to know their new classmates and teachers on this Outdoor Ed trip, organized by faculty members Katie Ward and Kendall Hickman.

For continuing students, Big Bear marks the next step in their Outdoor Ed journey, following the inaugural fifth-grade trip to Catalina Island. As Katie shared, “Many make friends that will last throughout their time at Poly.” 🧡

The countdown is on! 🎒📚 Just one week until the start of school, and we’re excited to welcome our new food service partners, Epicurean Group. PolyNews sat down with Stefan Vogelsang, Epicurean Group’s head chef at Poly, and Vic Mancilla, the new general manager, to learn more about what’s in store for dining on campus.
