I want to thank my chefs for giving me this opportunity. I also want to thank my classmates for supporting me to make this goal of mine. I cant wait to see what next year holds.

These students had an incredible weekend at the Texas ProStart Invitational, one that reflects months of hard work, late nights, weekends, and even school breaks spent pushing themselves to be better. They showed up and gave it everything they had while representing themselves with pride. I could not be more proud of this group and everything they have poured into this journey.
Here's to next year as we build and go again.
Cindy Galvan stepped into the ProStart individual competition representing Pasadena High School as a proud Eagle 🦅, and her performance showed it. Since November, she has been putting in the work week in and week out 💪.
Her hand rolled rosemary dough 🌿, filled with a ricotta and mascarpone lemon stuffing 🍋, paired beautifully with a blackberry basil sauce 🫐🌿. Every element reflected her dedication, skill, and Eagle pride ✨👩🍳. A great showing that highlights her hard work and growth 👏

Abigail was our first competitor at the 2026 ProStart Invitational State Competition, and she opened the event with a dish that was entirely her own creation:
- Macadamia nut pancakes with a delicate white sauce
- A jalapeño, onion, and sun‑dried tomato hash
- A vanilla–orange semolina pudding
Abi has been perfecting this menu since September, pouring countless hours into refining every flavor and technique. The result is a dish that reflects her creativity, discipline, and passion for the craft. It is unmistakably hers.
