Visit our community Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead) altar / ofrenda on the main floor of PCC Library. We invite you to write down a name of a loved one who has passed, using the provided supplies and add it to the altar. Information about the symbolism and meanings behind the items placed on the altar are also featured.

In this week's photo, well-known designer Douglas Bartoli (on the right) is installing art for the 1961 Alumni Art Show at Pasadena City College. Bartoli (1941-2003) went on to complete an M.F.A. from the Otis Art Institute and then a successful career in design.
