There was plenty of magic, smiles, and fun all around. ❤️✨ What a practically perfect day!

🌞 Our first chapel for the Summer! 🌞

✨ This week, we learned about the first Fruit of the Spirit: LOVE! ❤🌟 We talked about how the Good Samaritan showed love by helping someone in need, even when it wasn’t easy. 🧡🤝

🧪🌈 Here is a fun science activity to try with your littles this weekend! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬✨

📋 Supplies Needed:
- 7 small plastic cups🥤
- Paper towels 🧻 (the more absorbent ones work best)
- Food coloring in primary colors 🔴🟡🔵
- Water 💧

Instructions:
1. Place 7 cups in a row and pour water in the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th cup. Fill them about 3/4 of the way. 💦
2. Add 5 drops of red food coloring to the 1st and 7th cup. 🔴
3. Add 5 drops of yellow food coloring to the 3rd cup. 🟡
4. Add 5 drops of blue food coloring to the 5th cup. 🔵
5. Take a half sheet of paper towel and fold it in half lengthwise and in half again lengthwise. 🧻
6. Trim off some of the length so that there isn’t too much excess paper towel that will stick up in the air between each cup. This will make the water walk more quickly. ✂️➡️💧
7. Place one half of a rolled paper towel in the 1st cup and place the other half in the cup next to it. Then another paper towel from 2nd cup and into the 3rd cup. This continues until you have placed the last paper towel that drapes over from the 6th cup to the 7th cup. 🌈
8. Observe the colored water moving! 👀✨

🎨 Watch as new colors appear like magic through capillary action! 🔬🌈

Miss Anglea's class had a SLIME-TASTIC Thursday! 💚💜💗💙

👩🏻‍🔬👨🏿‍🔬 These creative scientists had so much fun mixing, stretching, and squishing colorful slime creations while exploring hands-on science in the most exciting way. The classroom was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of sticky fun! 🙌

🔬✨ What a WONDERful Wednesday we've had at Asbury Christian Preschool! ✨🔬

Our little scientists had an AMAZING second day of Science Camp filled with colorful creations, bubbly experiements, and hands-on fun! ⚗🌈

👩‍🔬 In Miss Nallely's class, the children explored how colors mix together using food coloring and water! 💧
💙 In Miss Tabitha's class, the kiddos created their very own lava lamps using water, vegetable oil, Alka-Seltzer, and blue food coloring! 🎨
🖌 In Ms. Minerva's class, they painted beautiful rocks with lots of creativity and color! 👨‍🎨
🫧 In Miss Evelyn and Ms. Jill's class, the kids made bubble wands and had a blast creating bubbles! 🌬🫧
🍎 And in Miss Angela's class, the children experimented with gummy bears and even made apples "explode!" 🍏💥

We are LOVING all the curiosity, creativity, and excitement our campers are bringing to Science Camp this week! 💡🔍🧬
