Eight months ago, Peggy, our President stepped in to give a campus tour.
A daughter was interested in our cosmetology program. She brought her mom.
During the tour, her mom shared her passion for the industry but she had spent the last 25 years raising her family and putting everyone else first. Peggy shared the story of another student who started over in her 40s and reminded her that it’s never too late.
Wendy decided to enroll soon after. Yesterday, she graduated.
After 25 years as a wife, mother, and homemaker, she chose herself. She chose growth. She chose a dream she had put on hold for decades.
Later she told Peggy:
“That tour changed everything for me.”
Moments like this are why we love what we do. Why Peggy still enjoy giving tours. Education doesn’t just teach skills. Sometimes it helps people rediscover who they are.
Dreams don’t have an expiration date. 🤍
