🌱 The Foundation of Speech 🌱

Before we can expect a child to verbally communicate, there are essential prelinguistic skills that must be developed. These skills—like joint attention, imitation, and gestures—lay the groundwork for future speech and language growth.

Next month, our SLP team will be diving into these foundational skills, breaking down why they matter and how they support communication development. Stay tuned! 💬✨

This month, join Optima in celebrating Black History month. A time to honor the legacy, resilience, and achievements of Black pioneers past and present. Let’s continue to uplift, educate, and inspire.

July is Cleft and Craniofacial awareness and prevention month! ☀️ Join us in raising awareness and supporting individuals with cleft and craniofacial conditions. Every smile tells a story of strength, resilience, and hope.

We hope that you and your family have an amazing month! We hope that you have lots of time to just relax and spend it with your loved ones. We are very much looking forward to spending time with our families.

Wow! It’s November, we can’t believe it. This month’s colors will be; brown, orange and red. Our signs for this month; please and thank you. Yay!

We love the month of November! It reminds us of all the things we have to be Thankful for. We are thankful for family, friends and so much more. Thank you for the opportunity to teach and learn from your children. Each one is unique and brings so much to the table.

We have many family fun activities that will be coming your way. And remember, together, we can make a difference in your child’s developmental skills.
