We were in quite a pickle this morning — Thanksgiving is tomorrow and our feast was frozen in a block of ice! Our little helpers came together as a team to save the day, melting and chipping away until our Thanksgiving dinner was free! 🍗🌽 🥕

We layer up before we head out to play, but we always manage to lose our shoes the second the Sun pops out from behind the clouds! After potting our plants and watering them, we began the hunt for some new seeds — did you know that when a single Marigold starts to die, we can harvest about 30 seeds from the flower head to plant next season? With the collection we’ve started, we’re looking forward to a forest of flowers in late Spring!

The goal was to brush all the oats into the C, but as it turns out, it was much more fun to uncover a hidden letter and then bring out the crayons for a pop of color! Things don’t always turn out the way we plan, but we always manage to have fun along the way! ❤️

Our honorary paleontologists managed to free all dinosaurs from the lava! Activities like this help develop prewriting skills by strengthening all those tiny hand muscles, practicing our hand-eye coordination, and working on fine motor control.

We’re soaking up the sun and decorating fallen leaves with push-button hole punchers. Not only are we giving our play space a little ✨razzle dazzle✨, we’re working on our pre-writing skills by strengthening our hand muscles and working on hand-eye coordination!

Inspecting our new rosemary plants before repotting! As we ease into cooler weather, our littles are preparing our indoor herb garden and helping to fill the outdoor garden beds with new veggies. We’re soaking up all the barefoot weather we can in the meantime!
