Frostig’s 2026 Academic Fair / Get Curious event was truly one for the books! 📚✨

Each year, Academic Fair/Get Curious gives our students the opportunity to dive deep into a topic or classroom theme and proudly present their research to classmates and families. It’s a special tradition that celebrates not just what they learn, but how they learn, highlighting their curiosity, creativity, and growing expertise.

We couldn’t be prouder of our bright minds and all the hard work they put into making this event so inspiring! ⭐️💡

Last week, we had a wonderful time celebrating Read Across America Week at Frostig! Throughout the week, students and staff came together to share their love of reading with a variety of fun activities 📚

On Monday, our classrooms kicked things off with a creative door decorating contest inspired by favorite books, genres, and authors that went on throughout the week. On Tuesday, students had the chance to dress up as their favorite book characters, bringing beloved stories to life around campus. Wednesday’s activity included inviting surprise guest readers to classes with special read-alouds. On Thursday, everyone joined in for a schoolwide Drop Everything and READ moment!📖

A huge thank you to our amazing librarian, Mr. Alex, and the RWL Committee for organizing such a thoughtful and engaging week that celebrates the joy of reading for our entire school community. 💙

Mr. Lee’s high school biology class has been studying the human brain. During today’s class, they dissected a sheep’s brain to see the brain’s inner parts and compare/contrast human and animal brains! 🧠

This month, Frostig is honoring rich traditions, powerful history, and bright futures as we celebrate Lunar New Year and 100 Years of Black History Month! ✨

To welcome the Lunar New Year, our classrooms refreshed their spaces with cleaning, organizing, and even a creative “desk yard sale!” Students also crafted beautiful Horse Lanterns inspired by the theme “Galloping Toward Your Goals,” sharing personal goals they’re excited to chase in the year ahead. 🐎🏮

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Black History Month, and our campus has been filled with meaningful reflections and celebrations. Classes explored a 100-year timeline, highlighted influential figures, and shared powerful quotes that honor the legacy, achievements, and ongoing impact of Black leaders throughout history.

At Frostig, we celebrate culture, courage, and community — and the bright possibilities ahead for all of our students. ❤️

Step into the Fork & Fiction Café 📚☕️

Our librarian, Mr. Alex, has cooked up a brand-new ELA experience for our high school students! Each café table features a different book genre—fiction, fantasy, romance, and more—so students can choose what they’re craving and get “served” a curated selection of reads by our head chef himself 👨‍🍳📖

With Frostig teachers and staff as the servers, it’s been a deliciously fun reading adventure so far… and we can’t wait to see what’s next! ✨
