Today’s Toastmasters meeting celebrated Earth Day with thoughtful and engaging discussions. One of our newest members, Anne, took on the Toastmaster role for the first time and did a fantastic job leading the meeting.
Aaron, our Table Topics Master, added a fun and interactive twist with Earth Day–themed questions and a spinning wheel to select both topics and speakers, making the session lively and memorable for everyone involved.

Today’s Toastmasters meeting centered around the theme “It’s a Family Thing” — and it truly felt that way from start to finish.
Rachel did a fantastic job leading as Toastmaster, keeping the meeting engaging and running smoothly. Aaron brought the energy with a round of fun, thought-provoking questions that tied perfectly into the theme and got everyone involved.
But the highlight of the meeting was one of our new members, Anguraj, who delivered his Ice Breaker speech today. He gave us a meaningful glimpse into his life, career, and personal journey toward becoming a more confident speaker. It’s always inspiring to witness that first step, and he did an incredible job.

Keeping up with our yearly tradition, a few of us from Parsons Toastmasters gathered in person for an end-of-year holiday luncheon. One of the challenges of being an online club is not always having the opportunity to connect face-to-face, which is why we make it a priority to meet in person at least once a quarter. At Parsons Toastmasters, we’re not just focused on professional development—we’re also building meaningful friendships along the way.

Today’s Toastmasters meeting was all about fresh beginnings, renewed goals, and welcoming growth into our club as we step into the new year together. 🎉
We’re excited to officially induct our newest members — Siri, Jesse, and Anne — into the club! Each of them brings unique energy, perspective, and potential, and we’re thrilled to have them begin their Toastmasters journey with us.
