💙 We Need YOU! 💙

Our PTA isn’t about everyone doing everything. It’s about everyone doing what they can, when they can.

Whether it’s volunteering at an event, sending in a donation, sharing an idea, helping behind the scenes, or simply showing up—every little bit makes a difference! 🐾

We’ve put together a list of ways you can get involved. Some are one-time volunteer opportunities, while others could be the start of a committee if you’re interested in taking the lead or working with a small group.

✨ Take a look at the sign-up and see if there’s something that works for you!

No commitment to do it all. No pressure. Just a chance to help make Jacobsville an even better place for our students, families, and staff. ❤️

Thank you for being part of our PTA community!

Our PTA events play an important role in supporting the students, staff, and programs at Jacobsville. Throughout the school year, we need volunteers to help with a variety of events. Volunteer opportunities vary in both the type of work and the time commitment, so please read the description for eac...

🎉 Here are the PTA sign-up results from our FIRST WEEK of school! 🎉

We’re off to a great start, but there is still PLENTY of time—so keep those PTA sign-ups coming in! 💙💛🐾

Not sure about joining? PTA membership does NOT mean a time commitment! You don’t have to attend meetings or volunteer. Simply becoming a member is a way to show your support! 💙
Your membership helps:
🐾 Support programs and activities for our students
🎉 Make special events and experiences possible
🍎 Support our amazing staff
💙💛 Show your support for Jacobsville!
And don’t forget… the grade with the MOST PTA sign-ups gets to SILLY STRING MRS. UMILE! 😂🎉

📣 Jacobsville Volunteers & Field Trip Chaperones — Important Information!

We are working on booking a fingerprinting session to come directly to Jacobsville to make the process as convenient as possible for our families and volunteers. We’ll share more information as soon as a date is available!

In the meantime, you can get fingerprinted through the Anne Arundel County Board of Education.

🖐️ Fingerprinting is a one-time process and does not expire. A fingerprint-supported background check is the best option for those who plan to volunteer at school, chaperone field trips, or help with school events.

If you are unable to attend a future on-site fingerprinting session, you can schedule your own appointment at:

📍 2644 Riva Road, Annapolis
💰 Cost: $63.00

👉 Schedule Fingerprinting: walk in welcome on Fridays!
https://koalendar.com/e/annearundelfingerprinting

🔎 Background Check Options

All volunteers should have either:

✅ Fingerprint-supported background check — does not expire
OR
✅ Commercial background check — good for 2 years

📚 Required Volunteer Training

Everyone who volunteers must also watch the Sexual Harassment & Child Abuse Prevention video and complete the required form. Please return the completed form to the school office.
