Today was such a meaningful day at the Altadena Rotary Mini Grant Program for PUSD teachers.
For the past 35 years, Altadena Rotary has gifted more than $350,000 to teachers to use directly in their classrooms to benefit students. This year, 30 teachers received $400 each, totaling $12,000 in grants.
One of the most inspiring parts of today was hearing the teachers share how they used the funds to create meaningful experiences and opportunities for their students. Their creativity, dedication, and heart were truly incredible. Please watch the video to see the incredibly creative and inspiring projects the students brought to life!
For the past five years, I’ve had the honor of sponsoring lunch for the teachers and principals as a way to honor my beautiful mother, Dolores Correa, who dedicated 40 years to teaching with Los Angeles Unified School District.
Today was a beautiful reminder of the lasting impact teachers make every single day 💛

So grateful for our neighbors, friends and clients who came out and helped us collect 787 lbs of food for Friends In Deed! It was a great day of giving back, connecting and seeing neighbors meet neighbors. We also had fun watching local Megaminx standout Ryan Roth share his impressive skills! Really appreciate everyone who stopped by and made it such a special day! ❤️
