Join us July 27–31 for a week dedicated to developing your sound, technique, and artistry, led by PCM instructors Danielle Ondarza and Mike Zonshine! Each day features a group warm-up, full brass ensemble playing, and sectional time. Whether you're building on existing skills or getting back in shape before school starts, this camp is for you!

Dylan Watanabe, a student of Dr. Brian Barany, placed 1st in the Musical Arts Competition of Orange County on May 16 in the Guitar VI Division for 15-16 yrs. He performed at the Winners' Concert on June 6 at the Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda.

Join us July 20–22 for an immersive flute experience led by PCM faculty Johanna Borenstein featuring a master class with principal flautist of the Pasadena and Long Beach Symphonies, Heather Clark. Whether you're working on tone production, breathing, technique, articulation, or interval training, this camp covers it all!

🎹 Student News! 🎹
Congratulations to Nora Wang (16), Brandon Chen (12), and Terence Lee (11) for their incredible achievements this competition season!

Nora Wang, a student of Dr. Esther Yune, took first prize in her age category at the MTAC Orange County North Branch Winterfest and won both the Branch and Regional levels of the Southern California Junior Bach Festival (SCJBF). She will proceed to the Complete Works Audition this September!

Brandon Chen, a student of Dr. Esther Yune, took first prize in his age category at the MTAC Orange County North Branch Winterfest and won both the Branch and Regional levels of the SCJBF, performing J.S. Bach's Fantasy in C minor, BWV 906. He has also been selected to proceed to the Complete Works Audition this September!

Terence Lee, a student of Dr. Stephen Cook, won both the Branch and Regional levels of the SCJBF and will also proceed to the Complete Works Audition this September!

Led by Young Musicians Department Chair Rachael Denny, PCM students and faculty perform and read “This is a Moment” Caregivers and children aged 3-9 enjoy story time, creative movement, and a mini-concert. This event is free and open to the public.

🎵 Summer @ PCM 🎵

Join us this summer to discover and play folk music from around the world starting with American Roots Music including fiddle tunes, bluegrass, country, and blues! Led by instructor Natalie Brejcha, this relaxed but lively ensemble welcomes everyone from beginners to seasoned players.

Special focus on chorded instruments (guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele) and solo strings (violin, viola, cello), but all instruments welcome!
