ArtCenter's 2026 Design Invitational is not just about iconic classics and legendary marques. It is also a sneak peek into the future with concepts from the local advanced design studios. Among them, we are delighted that GM has chosen this occasion at ArtCenter's Hillside Campus as the first public display of the freshly-launched GMC HUMMER X SUV and HUMMER X pickup concepts.

Designed under the direction of Bryan Nesbitt, ArtCenter alum and VP of Global Design at General Motors, these thrilling concepts offer an early glimpse at what describes as a "testbed for new technologies, new aesthetics, and new ways to build a community around adventure.”

ArtCenter's Teen Summer Classes return this July and August with hands-on courses in game development, fashion illustration, sneaker design, car design, and more.

Learn from expert practitioners in our studios and workshops, build portfolio-ready projects, and showcase your work at an end-of-week exhibition.

One-week intensives run 9 AM–4 PM with lunch and supplies included. Three-week sessions go deeper. Small class sizes mean personalized feedback and mentorship.

This summer they can find out what it's like to pursue those passions and curiosities in ArtCenter's summer classes for teens. These exquisite examples of Ferrari design are rolling into Pasadena for the 2026 ArtCenter Design Invitational on May 31. From a 1961 Ferrari 250 GTE in midnight blue to a 2025 Daytona SP3 that looks like it was designed by someone who grew up on Maranello mythology and decided to top it. This year's special focus on Italian design means the sculpture garden will also be home to Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini, Lancia, Maserati, Ducati and more. Sixty-five vehicles.
