Way to go Tiger Band and their fantastic directors, Mr. Walls and Mr. Flores!

Congratulations to the San Jacinto Tigers Intermediate School Concert Band for being selected as a Commended Winner -Citation of Excellence for second bands by the National Foundation for Music Education. OUTSTANDING! Winners were chosen from recordings submitted last Spring. The band was under the direction of Carlos Flores and Mark Walls. Pasadena Independent School District

Today was our annual Gold Out for Childhood Cancer Awareness volleyball game. Thank you to Susan Kretschmer Leining with BIG Love Cancer Care for sharing information with our families. Shout out to our amazing San Jacinto Tigers and South Houston Intermediate School fans for their generous donations, which will make a huge impact in the lives of children battling cancer.

We have lighting in the area and is not improving. To maximize the odds of both teams playing a full game we have made the decision to postpone the games scheduled for today until tomorrow.
