This is the definition of Karen Newlander, Livestock Secretary for the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo. She’s the lady behind the scenes that keeps everything running. Mrs. Karen is absolutely vital to PLSR!

Eagle Pride Never Dies! Two PHS Alumni Giving Back to Mighty Eagle Nation!

There is something special about seeing former Eagles return to support the next generation of PHS students!

A huge THANK YOU to Rudy Torres, Pastor of My Chapel Church, and Marco Alvarez, our Communities In Schools (CIS) Site Coordinator at Pasadena High School, for coming together to bring a generous donation of school supplies to our students!

Both Rudy and Marco are proud Pasadena High School alumni who continue to invest in the school and community that helped shape them.

This is what Eagle Pride is all about: alumni giving back, community partners stepping up, and the next generation of Eagles benefiting from those who came before them.

PHS FFA BRINGS HOME GRAND CHAMPION AT THE PASADENA LIVESTOCK SHOW & RODEO!

Our Pasadena High School FFA students showed up and showed out at the 2026 Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo Floral Design Competition!

Our Eagles brought home an incredible collection of awards, including:

🏆 Grand Champion Floral Design

🏆 Reserve Champion Floral Design

🏅 Third Place Floral Design

Along with numerous additional ribbons and awards earned by our talented FFA students!

These students demonstrated their creativity, technical skills, and dedication to agricultural education while representing Pasadena High School and our community.

A special thank you to our FFA advisors for preparing our students and providing opportunities for them to develop skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

Congratulations to all of our competitors! We are proud to see Eagle Pride represented throughout our hometown rodeo!

Recovery and Enrichment Saturday w/ Mr. Friend

September 26, 8PM to 12PM. Students who failed a course during the first six weeks will have an opportunity to receive support and work toward grade recovery, with Mr. Friend. This will count towards make up hours.

We will also provide SAT preparation for students seeking additional support with Mr. Cantu and Mrs. Edwards. Please check with your teacher to sign you up for Grade Recovery!

LET’S WALK FOR SIGHT! 💚

Pasadena High School is joining the Pasadena Lions Club and Pasadena ISD for the 2026 Walk for Sight, and we want our Eagle families, students, staff, and community to join us!

This family-friendly event supports Health Services, PE, Health & Wellness, and other community programs across Pasadena ISD. Bring the whole family and enjoy an afternoon of walking, community, and fun!

📅 Thursday, September 24, 2026

⏰ 3:45 PM – 6:00 PM

📍 Crenshaw Park | 4950 Burke Rd., Pasadena, TX

🎉 10 inflatable obstacles along the trail!

🏆 A traveling trophy will be awarded to the campus with the most participants, and the top three fundraising campuses will each receive $500 for campus wellness efforts!

The T-shirt ordering deadline has passed, but you can still register, donate, and support Pasadena High School!
