Bring the chaos in your head, all 9 volumes of your to-do list, and your laptop! In this workshop, we will discuss Getting Things Done (GTD), a popular system developed by David Allen for structuring your work at both the big-picture level and at the level of your daily responsibilities. You will assemble the beginnings of your trusted system that clears your mind, increases your focus, and helps you make decisions about what to do.

Grieving can feel isolating, especially when you're juggling classes, finals, research, helping others around you, and everything else life throws your way. But you don't have to carry it alone.
-
Counseling Services is offering a support group on Thursday, March 12th, at noon where students can connect with peers who are all dealing with complex emotions around grief. It's a safe, non-judgmental space to share experiences and feelings, and to find comfort with others who are also going through it.
-
The support group will be guided by a caring mental health professional who understands the many complicated ways grief can show up. Group facilitators will help keep the space safe, structured, and supportive while offering insight and healthy coping tools. Together, you can find comfort in knowing you're not alone and build resilience through community and connection.

Learn & support π§‘
-
Caltech Connect is a 2-hour interactive training, where participants engage in multiple exercises throughout the training to increase both their skills and awareness concerning the emotional intensity of responding to suicidal college students. Students will learn how to be better prepared to support a friend in emotional distress. We specifically focus on how to initiate difficult conversations about su***de and what to do next.
-
Facilitators work with participants to enable role-play within a safe and contained environment. The role-play gives participants an opportunity to practice these skills real-time throughout the training.
