I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching to kindly request exploring any potential options for funding support for Blair's track program. Nate Howes qualified for Nike Outdoor Nationals invitational meet in Eugene, Oregon taking place June 18-22.

We are currently also seeking other funding sources including PUSD, Blair Vikings Boosters, Bazic school office and art supplies company, and PEF and others.

Nate's Bio
My name is Nate Howes, and I am a 2026 graduate of Blair High School in Pasadena, where I earned an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. I will be attending the University of Colorado Boulder in the fall, where I will pursue a degree in Neuroscience.

As a 200m and 400m sprinter, I have been fortunate to achieve a number of accomplishments throughout my high school career, including:

• Rio Hondo League Champion in both the 200m and 400m
• CIF Southern Section Division Champion
• CIF Masters competitor
• School record holder in four events
• Qualified for Nike Outdoor Nationals (NON)
• Jimmy Cetina Award for Athletic Excellence
• Athletic Scholar Award
• Special Honor Roll for 3+ years.

I am reaching out to respectfully request funding support for travel expenses for my coach and I, approximately $1500-$2000, to compete at Nike Outdoor Nationals, one of the most prestigious high school track & field competitions in the country, located at the University of Oregon campus in Eugene, OR.

Representing Blair and the Pasadena community at this national stage is an incredible honor, and any support would make a meaningful difference in making this trip possible.
