💚 At our Preschool, being a green school means making thoughtful choices every day.

We use washable cleaning rags instead of paper towels, encourage waste-free lunches with reusable containers and no packaging, and turn natural and recycled materials into creative play and art. Sticks, flowers, rocks, leaves—even mud and ice cubes—become open-ended invitations for children to explore, create, and learn.

🌎 Fun fact: Thanks to these green initiatives, our preschool used fewer than five garbage bags during the entire school year! We’re so proud of what our children, families, and educators accomplished together.

Looking for easy ways to be greener this summer?

🌿 Bring a reusable water bottle on every adventure.
🌿 Let children explore with mud, water, and ice instead of buying new activities.

Summer colors are so vibrant. How many different colors can you find during some time spent in nature? Were any colors similar? Did any colors surprise you? Which color made you smile the biggest, or pause the longest? Was there a color you were hoping to see but have yet to find?
