There’s something special about performing right here at PDT. ✨

In between performances on larger stages, our Studio Theatre gives dancers the chance to experience productions up close, exploring character, storytelling, and artistry in a whole different way. Last spring, A Midsummer Night’s Dream filled PDT with mischief, magic, and plenty of fun.

We loved starting the holiday with our morning Adult Ballet class! 🩰

A quick reminder that the studio is now closed for the remainder of Labor Day. There will be no Conservatory or evening Adult classes today.

For one weekend, our studios will come alive with the artists, ideas, and creative relationships that shape Pasadena Dance Theatre. Join us for an evening of new choreography from Norbert De La Cruz III and ashleighdoede, live music, and unexpected collaborations from across our extended artistic community.

AUDITION NOTICE: The Nutcracker - CHILDREN’S ROLES!

Young dancers are invited to audition for Pasadena Dance Theatre’s 2026 production of The Nutcracker, choreographed by Jessamyn Vedro and performed at San Gabriel Mission Playhouse!

Enrolled PDT students and children from outside our Conservatory with dance experience are welcome to audition. If your dancer is new to PDT, we encourage you to schedule a trial class before the audition. Reach out to - [email protected] - to set it up! We’d love to meet you.

Performance is part of the training at Pasadena Dance Theatre.

From Laurence Blake’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream last spring (shown here!), to the productions ahead this season, our dancers have opportunities to take what they learn in the studio and bring it to the stage through character, storytelling, collaboration, and live performance.

There’s still time to dance with us in 2026–2027! 🩰
