Maranatha High School

This summer at Maranatha, your child becomes a designer.

The TILE Summer Studio is a four-week 3D-printing program for kids ages 8–13, led by Miguel Almena, former Walt Disney Consumer Products designer and Maranatha’s TILE Lab Director.

Each week is a self-contained design adventure with its own theme, its own hero project, and an in-hand moment by Day 3 — a real object your child designed and printed themselves.

Three days a week (M/T/W), three hours a day. $120 per week. Spots are limited to 20 per week. Enrollment closes July 3.

From May 26–31, a group of Maranatha students and faculty traveled to San José, Costa Rica, where they had the incredible opportunity to build a home for a family in need. 🙏

For three days, they hammered nails, painted walls, loved on the community, and served as the hands and feet of Christ. They were also able to bless the family with appliances and a large grocery trip.

At the end of the build, the team stood in a circle and passed the key to the new home around. Each person had the opportunity to speak from the heart and pray a blessing over the family. It was a powerful reminder of God’s faithfulness and the impact of serving others. ❤️💙

We are incredibly grateful for opportunities like this that allow our students to step out in faith, serve others, and see God at work around the world. 🙌

Maranatha students spent last week serving at Serve LA’s Hope Center in West Hollywood, caring for their neighbors by preparing and serving Community Meals and supporting the Shower Ministry. 🙏

Beyond serving, students also had the opportunity to experience the city together by hiking near the Hollywood Sign, exploring the surrounding area, and enjoying local ice cream along the way. 🤩

It was a week marked by service, fellowship, and a deeper understanding of what it means to love and serve others well. ❤️💙

We can’t believe graduation was only last weekend, and we’re already missing the Class of 2026. 🫶

It has been a joy to watch this class grow over the years, supported by incredible teachers, coaches, and mentors who invested so much in their lives.

We are proud of all you’ve accomplished and excited to see where God leads you next. No matter where life takes you, Maranatha will always be home. ❤️💙

This is a great new addition to Ascend: The Maranatha Summer Experience, and registration is now open. With camp beginning next Tuesday, now is the time to sign up.

We’re also excited to kick off Soccer Skills Camp soon, with sessions available for students entering grades K-12. Whether your student is ready to build skills on the field, try something new, or enjoy a fun and active summer experience, Ascend has something to offer.

From athletic skills camps to hands-on innovation and creative arts experiences, Ascend: The Maranatha Summer Experience gives students the opportunity to build skills, explore interests, and experience the energy of Maranatha in the summer.

Maranatha’s campus will be closed the week of May 25-30 while crews replace and upgrade the electrical infrastructure in our Student Center. As a result, no office personnel will be on campus.
