We're excited to highlight one of our incredible Music Business Alumni, Catalina Herraiz!

Catalina Herraiz is a Music Business student at LACM, graduating Cum Laude in summer 2026. She began her music career in Spain at 16 as a talent booking intern at All Nighters, before moving to Los Angeles to continue her studies there. Since then, she’s built her foundation across label operations, publishing, and licensing as Label Manager of LACM’s student-run label, 370 Music Group, and through internships at The Grey Administration and, most recently, BMG Publishing, alongside running her own artist management project, Stereo Management.

Catalina was selected as a mentee for the California Copyright Conference’s first-ever mentorship program and two consecutive years of the Grammy U Mentorship Program, where she remains an active member. Now, at 22, Catalina looks forward to continuing to develop her experience in publishing and sync licensing, serving as a bridge for international music entering the Los Angeles industry.

Join us in giving a warm welcome to our newest addition to LACM Admissions, Jerald Wheat!

Jerald is thrilled to join the LACM Family as a member of the admissions team, overseeing admissions for our Keyboard, Drum, Saxophone/Trombone/Trumpet, Composing for Visual Media, & Music Business programs. His varied employment background has allowed him to live many lives, one as an educator, one as a business transportation manager, and one as a performer. After several years of working in the Transportation industry, Jerald decided to follow his joy of theatre and the performing arts education and pursued his Master’s in theatre. After graduating with his MFA, he then went on to teach Shakespeare to high school students and perform at a multitude of regional theatres throughout the East Coast. Jerald looks forward to being an integral part of the admissions department at LACM!
