🇺🇸 25 YEARS. WE WILL NEVER FORGET. 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years ago today, our country changed forever.

On September 11, 2001, we witnessed unimaginable loss—but we also witnessed extraordinary courage. First responders ran toward danger. Men and women answered the call to serve. Families made sacrifices most of us can never fully understand.

At Lost Pit Cookers, honoring those who serve has always meant something to us.

That’s why, at the end of every night, our last three songs are more than just music. They are a tradition. A moment to stop, raise a glass, sing along, and remember the men and women who have sacrificed—and continue to sacrifice—for the freedoms we enjoy.

To our military, veterans, first responders, and the families who stand behind them: thank you. Your courage, service, and sacrifice will never be taken for granted here.

25 years later, we still remember where we were.
We still remember those we lost.
We still honor those who answered the call.

And we will never forget. 🇺🇸

The calm before the storm… 👀🔥

Right now it’s a whole lot of concrete, a few trailers and some porta-potties. 😂

Give us a couple of days and this little stretch of the fairgrounds will look VERY different.

The LPC crew is officially in GO MODE — building, hauling, shopping, prepping, cooking and, most importantly, writing checks.

For more than three decades, Lost Pit Cookers has called these fairgrounds home.

The faces have changed. Kids have grown up. Friends have become family. A whole lot of meals have been cooked and more than a few drinks have been poured. 🍻
